Strange.....

why is it that the older you get, the more you forget things like your birthday and christmas are coming? i keep forgetting that christmas is only 7 days away, and i forgot it was my birthday on nov. 30........it is sooo weird. i still need to buy aaron a present, and i dont have much time left.......ugh. oh well, il know when christmas gets here anyway.....lol. anyway, i saw a good movie a few days ago......I Am Legend. that movie is sooooo good! well, come to think of it, "good" isnt necessarily the correct word.....i think intense and disturbing would be better suited to discribe it...lol. it is about some cracked woman who thought she found a cure for cancer by taking the measles and geneticly mutating the virus into something that was suposedly good, but it wasnt.....to say the least....she has treated 10009 people, and all 10009 people came down with severe forms of rabies, and eventually devolved into crazzed, rabid ferocious creatures in a human body that only come out at night. so, instead of making a cure for cancer that would revolutionize the world, she made a super virus that destroyed the world.......so 99.9% percent of the population are crazzed, blood-sucking mutants. yea. it was an entertaining movie. but if you dont like disturbing images, DEFINATELY dont watch it. (hey Rachel, i dare you to watch it in the basement with the lights off.... ;-).....JK, of course)

The time has come to brag...

yup, and it is totally awesome. andrew has for a long time been contemplating getting a nintendo Wii, and he has been saving a while. he had wanted one for a while, and and had been looking at games for a while too, but he had hi eye on the latest and greatest game from lucasarts... The Force Unleashed. unfortunately said game was not coming out on the Wii. then all of the sudden he found out that it was coming out on the Wii, and about flipped out with excitement, and that decided it for him: he was getting a Wii. we started looking into Force Unleashed, and how good it would be on the Wii......... it turned out that it was not going to be very good on the Wii, so he started to rethink his plans. if his dream game was not going to be all the great on the Wii, maybe he should consider a differant gaming system. he already knew that it was only coming out on the xbox 360, the playstation 3 and the Wii. so we started comparing the graphics of the xbox and the ps3. the xbox had a nice smooth look about its graphics, but the ps3 had much sharper textures. we both actually liked the xbox way more, so we started looking into it. andrew decided on the xbox 360, and on wednesday we went to wally world and he bought one. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! yeah. so now we have an xbox 360. andrew bought Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars to start with, because The Force Unleashed doesnt come out until i dont know when. so, if any of you guys want to play Tiberium Wars, just call and invite yourselves... we may get Halo 3 in the near future... its so awesome to have an xbox 360...

Evolutionary Thoughts

Give me feedback an these questions please.

Consider for a moment that evolution is true, and answer this question from a evolutionist point of view: If human DNA is 70% the same as that of a banana, and even closer to that of a pig, why is it that we are all descendants of apes? Why aren’t some of us descendants of bananas or pigs? Or is it just that evolution is all a lie, and a device used to try to remove God from the picture?

Now answer me this question: if the sun grows by 11 feet every day, and if the earth is in fact billions and billions of years old, why wasn’t the earth engulfed in the sun years ago? Or is it that the earth really is not that old, and modern scientists’ dating methods are inaccurate and/or dishonest?

Why would evolutionists claim that the earth came into being through said “Big Bang” if the chances of a livable world coming into being by chance are no greater than the chances of the unabridged dictionary coming out of a printing factory explosion? In fact, taking into account the necessary gravitational forces of the planet, the necessary distance of the moon from the planet (yes, a moon is required for a livable planet), and the necessary amount of fresh, moving water, the chances of a livable planet coming out of a random explosion are so slim, that there are not enough stars in the universe for there to be a reasonable chance that one of them contains a earth-like planet. Why, then do evolutionists cling to this rather improbable idea if not only to avoid including a sovereign God?

Why is it that evolutionists argue in favor of a multi-billion year old earth if they if, in arguing thus, would also have to argue in favor of the oceans being giant bricks of salt? It is a generally know fact that year by year the oceans gather more and more salt. This being said, at the rate at which the salt is gathering, it would necessarily follow the conclusion of an ancient earth that its oceans would be bricks of salt!

Vacation: the real thing

I said that i would post on vacation, so here i am to keep my word, like a good boy should.

In a word, vacation was awesome. we did not get to go down to the college as planned, but it was still awesome. we started out by going to our friends house, who live in fenton michigan. they are the Mascows, and Mr mascow, or should i say PASTOR Mascow was our pastor... oh lets see... three pastors ago? something like that. anyway, we had not seen them in like 8 or 10 years, so i thought it was going to be a little bit weird trying to get re-introduced to andrews oncewas best friend, but it wasnt too bad. we stayed there over sunday and did special singing at their evening service. that was fun, and we also met a girl there, Rachel Cathrine (hence the new friend on facebook), who was pretty cool, so we had someone to talk to who was kinda like us. Josiah (andrews once was best friend) was a lot older, and had his own things going on, but ws still fun to talk to when we got the chance. the highlight of being there was definately the packers game we got to watch while we were there. wow, you have not seen a packers fanatic until you have seen Mrs Mascow. EVERYTHING in their house is packers, including garbage cans. anyway, when we won agianst the chargers, the house got pretty wild. after that, we said our goodbyes and left for kentucky. we stopped near hebron, and camped at a cempground called Big Bone Lick. that was seriously the nicest campground that i have ever stayed at. period. itw as clean, it had a good amount of open space, and close neighbors. normally, close neighbors are a bad thing camping... but when your neighbors are christian homeschoolers who are also going to see the creation museum, it makes a big differance. ((little side note--aaron thought mom just called him a bleeding corpse, but she didnt.--just a side note)) anyway, we managed to camp right between two christian homeschool families. one of them, the Churneys, had gone to the museum the day before we got there, and were going again the day after we planned on going. the Churneys had... lets see... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... 5 kids. a two-year old named mathew, a 7-year-old named aaron, a 10-year-old named emily, an 11-year-old named jacob, and a 14-year old named erica. we all got along well with them, and we are staying in contact with them through mail (yes, snail mail.). the other family, the Hansens (h-a-n-s-E-n, mos), were going to the museum on the same day we were... at the same time we were. what a co-inkeedink. we seemed to make instant friends with them, and we spent a lot of time with them. they had 3 kids: liam james, 2; McKenzie page, 11; and cassidy McKay, 13. it was kind of comical... i caught all of their middle names because their parents used them often. we are staying in cantact with them though msn, mial, and email. after leaving B.B.L, we drove all day and spent the night in like the creepiest campground ever. seriously, we got there, and there were a bunch of campers all in a big group, like they were all doing something together, but we didnt see anyone. on top of that, all of the campers looked like they had been there since the stone age. it was kinda like the people lived there. then, just after we had finished unpacking, all of the people showed up all at once, like they were getting back from work... it was kinda weird. but that was only half of it. we got down to the bathrooms, and for one, the stalls were only 4 feet high. you could look right into them without even trying. then, when you go to wash your hands, there is no soap or paper towels, and the water smells like egg salad. oh yea, the stall doors had no locks. and finally, the showers looked like moldy, rusty dungen cells. it was a nasty campground...yea. we did not get to go to andrews college as planned, because the car was overheating over the silliest things, so we didnt dare take it on the moutains, and decided to go back home. we then headed up to waupan, which is back in WI.. we have some friends there that we dont get to see very often, so on deciding not to go to the mountains, we decided to take a trip up to their house. it was there that we played our first game of tackle football. that was awesome. and after that we went home...yea.

Vacation

I will post on our vacation shortly

Wow

I am actually posting... this is a change of events...

Tuesday, August 21, 2007

Oh Goody.

i am probably going to be helping seriers (that IS how you spell it!) out a lot in the next few days and maybe even weeks, so il be busy... and that is a good thing. i was at our aunt and her husbands (hehe) house helping seriers tear apart the barn that blew down in th storm... but it is fun. and i finally got their names straight to boot: in age order from oldest to youngest, Kaylin, Carrie, Cassy, Sadie (i dont know if that's how you spell it, but it is pronounced SAY-DEE), and Robert, aka bubby. i am SOOO glad to be busy!

Peaple are SOOOOO frustrating!

A family that we know is in need of prayer right now. i wont give out any names, tho names would probably not mean anything to you. some of our freinds just got into an accident on the freeway, and the mother and all five kids were in the car at the time. the mother was complaining of neck and back pain immidiately after the accident, and the youngest daughter was thrown from the vehical. no one was seriously injured as far as i know, but they need prayer for recovery for the injured and comfort for the other children. also pray that they catch the idiot that caused th accident, who shortly afterwards crossed the median and fled the scene.

Humans are soooo stupid!

Another waste of time...

This is another way that i have been wasting my long week hours. give me feedback. i made it in ms paint. i made bothe squares by hand, and then did a lot of copying and pasting. I isnt very good quality, but it should do.

Man... Summer has been short... i mean long... Gosh.

Wow, have i been lazy... no posts for a month... wow. i guess i have just had nothing to post about really. i have had nothing special going on, and had nothing that really caught my interest ina way that made me want to post about it. all that rambling about selling our house was for nuthing because our neighbors bumbed out on our plan all of the sudden, so now we are thinking about putting it on the market again, where it will never sell. andrew got a job, so i dont have him to shadow all day, and im out of ideas on what to do with my summer. the only thing i have left to do is give myself out to help people that we know with stuff that they need done but dont have the time or help that they need to do it. i have helped my aunt and uncle... uncel... my aunt and... her husband... (gosh)... clean up after their barn was blown away in a storm, and that took up a whole day, which was nice. they had half of their barn blow down, and after cleaning up the rubble, we pulled the rest of it down, and they had more trees down than up in their yard, it was kind of nice that all of the trees blew down in my humble opinion, because it really cleared up their front yard. now you can actually see their house from the road. stefen was sorta bumbed that his barn fell, but who wouldent be? it was a nice building. i also helped some people we know, the sureers (i spelled that totally wrong, but i have no clue how to spell it.) stack straw bales. that took up one whole afternoon, but it was fun. i may have told you about them, and how chuck sureer (hehe) has flipped a dump truck over backwards and rolled a school bus over, but those are not the sureers i am talking about. i am talking about chucks son, and his wife. they have... oh, lets see... five, going on six kids. the oldest, 12, is kristen... kaylee... kaylin... somthing like that. she was the only one to help out with stacking bales. the second oldest was carrie (the only one who i can remember her name, because of course my moms name is carrie, and she followed me everywhere.). she is 8 or 9. next is something like sylvia. i know that was not her name, but i know her name was something close to that. next was a girl that i have no idea what her name was whatsoever who was about 5, and last but not leats, bubba. at leats thats what they calles him. i never heard them call him anything but that. the most memorable part of that expidition was that i found a snake baled into one of the bales. it was, of course, dead. it was fun, and jeneane, their mom, said she had a lot more for me to do, so i am hoping i can go over their and do somthing productive with the rest of my summer. well, that about does it for what i have to post on right now... i cant really think of anything else with the sound of DAD PLAYING SSX TRICK in the backround! LOL. dad never plays video games, so it is kind of funny. he is pretty good to. LOL.

i will post again when i have another night that i have nothing to do...
that means i am going to have to think of another thing to post on by tommorow...

Sorry...

Ive been being kind of lazy lately and not posting... but i cant find anything to post about. you all know were moving, probably to hammond (ive been spelling hammond wrong up till this point), you all obviously know that i am doing drivers ed, and other than that we are leading a pretty normal life... that is besides the bootlegging, bankrobbing, terrorizing, and otherwise desterbing the peace; but we save all that for the weekends.

An early vacation

tomorrow we get to go up to Mcleods cabin on a lake in Pardeeville. they are some friend from church, and they invited us along with roboles, mitchels, and pedersons, also some friends from church. we are going to be fishing (yes!), swimming (with a water trampoline), boating (and water tubing), watching fireworks (that arent our own), campfireing (hopefully they have a big fire ring), and socializing (with friends... yes, abe, ashley too).
it is going to be a good time...

Finally!

We finally got our go-cart fixed for good... or a long time anyway. before it took us like ten minutes to get up to speed, but now we can accelerate up to full speed in less than five. we can also sit in one place and spin circles in the gravel... IT IS SOOO AWSOME!!! now we just need the new sprocket... hopefully a 54 tooth if we can find it in the right chain size. right now we have an 84 tooth.

A Little Change

Well, we are not buying the house that we were looking at at first, but there is another house in woodville that we looked at, and we all like it. the first house we looked at looked nice and all that, but it had one little problem... no insilation. yea. so we nixed that idea and moved on to this house, and this one is a bit roomy er (or however you say that) and a lot newer. it also has a bigger yard, tho not enough room for a volley ball net, and nicer bedrooms. i think mom and dad are thinking a little more seriously about this house than any of the other ones we have looked at, even tho it is a little to early to really tell. it is going to be SOOOOOO weird to move again! i havent moved in eight... maybe it is nine... years, and then we were moving often enough so that it was not a really big change. its not the house i mind leaving so much, tho, it is the land. i dont know what il do in a town yard! il feel sooooo cramped! but we will have friends close, so we wont be totally confined RobOle's ( is that right Mos?) will only be a five minute bike ride from our house. i just want to find a house, move, and be done with it!

Possibly Woodville?

Well, we found a house in Woodville that we looked at yesterday. dad wasnt there, but the rest of us are ready to move in right now. it is right in town, but it is a really nice house, and could feel like home if we made it that way. it is kind of funny, tho, because the way the upstairs is designed makes you feel like a giant. i can put my chin on the top of the windowsill, the guard around the stairs is only just above knee high, the door into the master bedroom is so short even i have to put my head sideways to get thu. i can look down on the top of the book shelf, and everything combined makes the lamp look especially small. nonetheless we love it, and there is a decent sized shed in the back to boot (the shed gives us a chance of dad liking it). mom and dad are going to look at it tonight, so we find out tonight. plus, where we are, we will only be about three blocks from where Roble's live, so we wont be moving away from everyone. il try to post again when we find out what dad thinks of it.

Little Smarty Pants!

On monday we had some friends over from switzerland... yes, mom has a friend in switzerland and we still have not been there. Anyway, they were over here, and it is really somthing else to know them. we have not exactly met Mr. Beal, but let it suffice to say that he is a member of mensa. Mrs. Beal is moms friend from highschool, and that is the only reason we know them, but their kids are the ones that we (meaning andrew, aaron and i) really know. the youngest two are Elizabeth and Victoria. they look so much alike that they could almost be twins, but lets just say that their dad rubs off on them. typical 4 and 5 year old girls, they were talking over eachother faster than i could comprehend about their stuffed animals that they sleep with. amidst the endless babble (that i actually enjoy listening to) i caught that Elizabeth has a stuffed sheep named Ariel (i think... i could'nt really hear) that is named Ariel not only in english, but in german, and italian as well. ITS NOT FAIR!!! she is 5 and already knows enough italian and german to name things!!! but thats not the half of it... there is still Christopher. lets just say he is also a future member of mensa. he is seven, and whenever i am around him i feel like a dummy. i always feel like i need to use big words that i can hardly spell, like deliberately, and derilict... and he never asks me what they mean. he already know how to use the word 'evidently' correctly... yea. not only that, but he is the possible world record holder for youngest published author, and his book is called "This And Other Summer Excursions" yes, he even used a big word in the name of the book that he wrote when he was six. if you would like to read it, you can check it out at the Baldwin public library (i dont think i spelled that right). like i said, you kind of feel like a dummy when you are around him.

Event are moving so fast!!!

WOAH!!!!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!! we had previously been trying to sell our house, but it never sold, so we took it of the market... and then, months later, our neighbors decide to buy our house off of us!! WOW!!! nothing is set in stone yet, but we would like to sell... dude... so here we are again, looking at houses to buy. some of the in or by Baldwin, others in or by Hamond. i would MUCH rather the former than the later... hamond is soooo not my kind of town, i mean, i HATE that town. but then again it is not my decision, so whatever they choose (if we sell) is good enough for me. mom and dad are kind of excited about a house between baldwin and hamond. it is in the country, small, pea green, and posesses an unfinished basement, but woth a little tlc it coul be a 2700 sq ft house. i should quit ranting before i know for sure what is going on, so il keep you updated.

Busy, Busy Week...

This week is a VERY busy one. we had monday free, but tuesday we had sten over, wed. we are going to have sten over again to put the go-cart together, (i think that i said that the parts were going to be here on tuesday, but i lied.) so that should be interesting. on thursday we are... ahem... WERE planning on having Roble's over, but those plans got busted (as usual) and now we are trying to get over there. on friday we are going to andy's house to help him move stuff from one house to another. on saturday we are going fishing on little or big sand lake, we have'nt decided yet, and saturday evening we are going to have our cousin over night. yea, busy.

A new project to keep us busy

this summer we plan to totally tear apart our rooms and connect two of them (mine and aarons). thos process (i dont know how to spell that word) has already begun, and we are finished with the first step of it: cleaning all of the... well... THINGS (for lack of a better adjective) out of our rooms. this included gutting our closets, both of which cover an entire wall of our rooms. yea, it was awful. now we get the pleasure of ripping the wall out of our rooms and replace all of the old panneling with sheet rock. this is all going to be sooo much fun, and we get to sleep either outside is a tent while wer're gutting, or one of has to share a room with a andrew, and one of us gets to sleep in the basement. lots of fun. lots and lots of fun. now is the part when i start looking around for some simpathy, and giving the puppy-dog eyes.

I HATE spending money!

Well, its over and done with, but i still hate doing it. the go-cart parts are on the way, and i spent 80 bucks on them. the parts i needed were a clutch and a chain. they are on the way. what i still need is a smaller sprocket. the sprocket that we have is 84 teeth, and that just wont do. the sprocket i am going toget eventually is a 60 tooth, and we'llbe able to milk a little more speed out of that. the new sprocket is going to have to wait a while, tho, because as much as i hate spending money, i hate spending it all at once more. but i cant wait until the parts get here! then we can finally fix the darned thing once and for all. with the current sprocket, we shouldnt br able to go any faster than we gave before, but when i get the 60 tooth sprocket, i expect 60 or 70 will be our average speed... this is going to be so much fun!

you would not believe how much more a clutch for a 1 inch shaft is than a clutch for a 3/4 inch shaft... its insane...

Frequent name changes

Call it weird, but i got sick of my blog name, so i am changing it. on anything like this that i do i get sick of the first name that i give myself, and i change it. i may change it again in the future, so be prepared...

Cold and wet... The life of a strawberry picker

Picking strawberries is sooo much fun!! you get down on your hands and knees and fill five quart pails with strawberries, in the cold wet plants. when you pick you need to be prepared to get wet from you toes to your hips, and from your fingers to your elbows. somtimes there is even frost on the plants, so by the end of the first hour your hands are so cold that you cant get them out of the grasping-strawberries position. but i have made fifty bucks in two days doing it, so it is not like it isnt worth it or anything. we pick at the red cedar valley farms, so the stawberies are prime quality... much, much, much, much, much better than those processed, rubber, unripe, molding, poor excuses for starwberries that wal-mart sells. so even though it s a rough job, it pays to get wet... quite well... 2.50 a pail... ten pails a day... six days a week...

Newfound get-up-and-go!!

we are finally fixing our go-cart once and for all... and we do it by replacing the piece of crap engine that was on there. the old engine was a four horsepower, and the new one is a whopping eight horse... just wait till we tell john we beat his five horse motor... hee hee hee! :-}
all we need is a clutch and a chain... things i plan to pick up this week sometime. its kind of funny that we dare upgrade so much, given the fact that we were able to milk thirty mph out of the crappy four horse, and now we are going to gear it even more for speed with the new clutch, and we are doubling the power... we might die before the beginning of next year...

My book progress

I have finally finished typing the first chapter of our book. It is not as easy as it sounds to come up with a woking story that keeps the reader interested in what is happening now, but builds up to another pouint in the story. Professional authers do not have an easy job! It is fun, though, and I dont have to force myself to keep writing it. I have started the second chapter, and am introducing another character, so from this point forth there will be a lot more conversation. That should make things interesting!
Andrew has officially started editing the prologue, so I should be able to post that on my blog pronto, maybe a day or two... maybe three... IDK, it will be done when it gets done I guess. I will keep you posted for the future progress on our book.

My book...

i found a pass time that i will be working on for the next few year if i can keep focused on it. andrew and i (with some input from aaron) are writing a book: Karn. it is kind if of sci fi sorta deal, but i have put a lot if thought into it over several years and dont think it will turn out too cheesy. it is a good brain exercise, tho, and it should keep me young over the summer. if andrew ever gets around to editing the prologue il post it on my blog for you to read. until then you are going to have to be patient. :-) i only have the prlogue and part of the first chapter of the first book done so far, and i have been writing for close to a week... IT IS SLOW PROGRESS!!!

Correction...

YES Mos, i know i spelled BORED wrong.

Time moves so slowly :-(

AHHHHH!!! this minute, day, and week seem to tick by SOOOOO slowly! summer is great when one is doing things... not to say there is nothing to do around here, i simply have not figured out what to do with all of my free time yet.
I AM SO BOARD!!!!!!!
i spend a lot of time playing piano, tho, and even more time sitting around. sitting here typing nonsense is the best (not the most productive) passtime i can think of at this point in time.
I AM SO BOARD!!!!!!!
iv got to get that out of my system after wanting so badly to shout that at the top uv my lungs all those long hours at school, even tho i am not really board given the fact that i know of plenty of passtimes, i just have no ambition right now.

I HAVE GOT TO FIND SOMTHING INTELLIGENT TO WRITE ABOUT.........

Anthony Burger is SOOOOO Awesome!!!

Seriously, yoov got to see him play to believe it. check this video of him playing sumthin or other... i cant think uv the name uv the song right now... one moment... i have to change my font color to an ugly mustard yellow... there we are... anyway, take a look at this video.
HE IS SOOO AWSOME!!!
sorry. i rant on and on when i come across a piano player that makes me drool.

Fluff, fluff, fluff...

Hi all... you are about to see... no wait...read... maybe it is see... IDK... all of the fluff that built up over the course of the school year pour out uv my BraIn...
Anyway, there is lots uv it and it could take a while. LOL. im feelin a little bord for the first time... im lackin in things to doo. no, i will not do more school, so no one recomend it. :) IDK uv anything we are doin special this summer... maybe i should get a job... il find sumthin to do...
